துஷ்பிரயோகம் செய்யப்பட்டு கொடூரமாக கொல்லப்பட்ட இளம் பெண்
கண்டி, அலவத்துகொட பிரதேசத்தில் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்ட நிலையில் மீட்கப்பட்ட இளம் பெண் பாலியல் பலாத்காரம் செய்யப்பட்டு கொலை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பொலிஸ் விசாரணைகளில் இருந்து தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
தனுகா மதுவந்தி என்ற 26 வயதுடைய யுவதி கடந்த 10ம் திகதி இரவு 9.30 மணியளவில் கொலை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பொலிஸாரின் விசாரணையில் மேலும் தெரியவந்துள்ளது.
சம்பவம் தொடர்பில், அங்கவீனமுற்ற இராணுவ சிப்பாய் ஒருவர் சந்தேகத்தின் பேரில் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
அவர் கொலையைச் செய்தாரா என்பதை உறுதிப்படுத்த அவரது DNA மாதிரிகள் மற்றும் இறந்த பெண்ணின் உடலில் இருந்து எடுக்கப்பட்ட DNA மாதிரிகள் பரிசோதனைக்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டுள்ளதாக பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்தனர்.
இராணுவ சிப்பாயின் விரல் நகங்கள் மற்றும் சாரத்தில் சேறு படிந்திருந்த நிலையில் அவர் மீதான சந்தேகம் வலுப்பெற்றதாக பொலிஸார் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
எவ்வாறாயினும், சந்தேகநபரான இராணுவ சிப்பாய் தன் மீதான குற்றச்சாட்டை மறுத்துள்ளார். சந்தேகநபர் கண்டி நீதவான் நீதிமன்றில் ஆஜர்படுத்தப்பட்டதன் பின்னர் எதிர்வரும் 22ஆம் திகதி வரை விளக்கமறியலில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
